About Ace Biscuit & Barbecue

In 1988, twelve year old Brian Ashworth wandered off JP Burley Middle School grounds to clear his head. Crossing Rose Hill Drive against school rules, he walked down to Henry Avenue. Only getting two blocks, he saw Dotties Cafe.
The place was small but bustling! In went Ashworth. Being greeted by Dottie made him feel welcome.
All the way through high school at Murray, young Brian would frequent Dotties for sandwiches.
Two decades later, Brian Ashworth opened Ace Biscuit & Barbecue, bringing back to the Rose Hill neighborhood what it once ha... a restaurant that prepares and serves food with love.

"Thanks for being part of my dream."

But, above is old news about our old spot! We've moved! Only about a block over, across the train tracks on the corner of Harris and Concord. Pet Paradise and Southern States are our neighbors, among many other great businesses. Please come by and check out our new location! We put a lot of thought, hard work, and passion into our new home away from home. We officially opened our new doors on February 18th! And, to top it all off, we now offer a full bar! There's no better way to get satisfied than to belly up to our beautiful custom black walnut bar and fill up on some comfort food accompanied by your favorite beverage! Cheers!
